Fayemi Names Olujobi O’odua Director

Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi has approved the appointment of Mr Segun Olujobi, CEO of Vertex Energy Limited as a director, representing Ekiti State on the board of O’odua Investments Company.

Olujobi, an old boy of Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti and alumnus of University of Lagos, where he bagged his first degree in Mechanical Engineering, hails from Emure Ekiti and is a seasoned management and financial expert and a fellow of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE).

According to a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode, "He is bringing on board 31 years’ experience in top level management as Partner and Head of Energy Sector at Accenture (1987- 2008) and Senior Executive at Africa Capital Alliance (2008-2010)".

Olujobi, who once chaired LEAP Africa, a Non-Governmental Organisation is a board member of First Hydrocarbon Nigeria6 Limited and Falcon Corporation among other top management and leadership positions.
He is married with children.
