COVID-19: Ekiti to Flag off Testing Centre soon - Health Commissioner

Ekiti State Government has said that it would flag-off the COVID-19 testing centre in the State, in a very short time from now.
The Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Mrs. Mojisola Yaya-Kolade, said this while giving an update on COVID-19 in Ado Ekiti.
Dr. Yaya-Kolade, who opined that the molecular laboratory would get to Ekiti State within a couple of days, informed that there were five active cases of COVID-19 patients in isolation, of which two were persons who sneaked into Ekiti State from Kano and Kaduna.
The Commissioner maintained that so many lives have been lost to Covid-19 in the country, contrary to what many people were saying, that there was nothing like either Coronavirus, or COVID-19 in Nigeria.
The Coordinator of Ekiti State COVID-19 Taskforce, Professor Mobolaji Aluko appreciated Ekiti citizens for providing relevant information as regards those sneaking into the State,urging the information providers to include their locations and phone numbers, while giving information to make their job easy.
Professor Aluko said the law enforcement agents were performing their roles efficiently, as Ministries of Justice and Environment have collaborated in arresting the violators.
The Commissioner for Information and Values Orientation, Aare 'Muyiwa Olumilua said Ekiti State Government would continue to frown at people using underage children to sell facemasks in the State, and would prosecute those found culpable of this abusive act.
Dignitaries at the press briefing include; the Coordinator of Ekiti State COVID-19 Taskforce, Professor Mobolaji Aluko, Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Mrs Mojisola Yaya-Kolade, Commissioner for Information and Values Orientation, Aare 'Muyiwa Olumilua, Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Olugbenga Agbeyo, and the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. 'Yinka Oyebode.
