Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) was poised for victory on the new dates announced by the INEC, noting that the poll shift only delays celebration of victory by its members.

He expressed confidence that the postponement of the general elections by one week will not stop the All Progressives Congress (APC) from winning the polls.

Egbeyemi however urged party members not to be discouraged by a shift in the dates of the election saying victory is sure for President Muhammadu Buhari and other APC candidates in the general elections.

The Deputy Governor, according to a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Odunayo Ogunmola, spoke on Sunday during a meeting with APC members at his private residence in Ado-Ekiti on the heels of the postponement of the general elections.

Leaders of the Prince Adedayo Adeyeye Movement (PAAM) in Ekiti North Senatorial District have shown their support for the re-election bid of the All Progressives Congress Candidate in the district, Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi.
