Tutor General Tasks Parents on Child Nurturing As School Resumes

Ekiti State Central Tutor General, Mrs Oluwatoyin Arogundade has tasked parents to nurture their children who are in Schools.
Mrs Arogundade gave the advice during her inspection tour to various schools in the zone on resumption day.
The tour which took her to Christ School, Ado, All Souls Anglican Grammar School, Ado, Ado grammar School and Iworoko Community grammar School, Iworoko saw students and members of staff receive the Tutor General at the Assembly ground with joy in a new year mood.
She however advised the students to be security conscious and shun vices that can tarnish their image.
She thanked God for the new year and described education as the only investment that can give the students a better future in life urging them to face their studies.
The Tutor General while calling on parents to do their part in nurturing the students noted that Dr Kayode Fayemi's government has promised to give the best attention to the education sector in the state.
She said the teachers in the zone will give their best to achieve success this year through good service delivery. Some of the principals who were present at her tour, Mr Adelaja Ajiniran and Mr Bamidele Falayi in an interview promised to support government efforts in taking education to greater heights in the state.
Some of the students promised to use their time well by focusing on their studies in order to come out with flying colours.
Meanwhile academic activities and normalcy have returned to Ado grammar school as the students were busy with their work when Tutor General visited the school .
