Ekiti APC Chair, Commissioner, Others Storm Aramoko To Inuagurate Campaign Committee

Chairman of the All Progressives' Congress (APC) in Ekiti, Paul Omotosho, Commissioner of Finance, Dapo Kolawole and other leaders of the party stormed Aramoko, as Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II Inaugurated Campaign Committee for the 2019 general elections. 

The over 30-man committee which comprised of the Ekiti State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Wale Fapohunda, Commissioner of Finance, Dapo Kolawole, Chief of Staff,  Chief of Staff, Abiodun Omoleye, Secretary to the State Government, Abiodun Omoleye, Chief Press Secretary to Governor, Yinka Oyebode and many party leaders in the State, was inaugurated today Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Civic Center, Aramoko Ekiti, the constituency's headquarters. 

Other members of the central Campaign committee inaugurated are: Chief Femi Oyebanjo as Patron, Chief Oluwole Ojo as chairman of the campaign committee, Hon. Ropo Ige as  Campaign Coordinator and Mrs. Bosede Olowookere as the deputy campaign coordinator. 

A former Councillor in Ekiti West, Segun Olatunbosun was made the secretary of the campaign committee and Kasali Oluwafemi  as assistant Secretary.

Chief Alake (Jofolak), Asiwaju Dapo Karounwi, Rt. Hon. Tope Ademiluyi, Engr. Kayode Ojo, Dr. Thomas Femi, Hon. Ojo Atibioke, Prof. Adio Afolayan, Barr. Dele Oloje, Barr. Isola Fapohunda, Mr. Jekoyemi, the Senatorial district Chairman, Alhaja Adesina, who is the Senatorial Women Leader, Mrs. Rabi - State Ex-Officio.

Other members of the campaign committee are:

Goke Olajide, Efon Assembly Candidate, Johnson Adeoye           Ekiti West Assembly Candidate for constituency 2, Ademola Ojo, Ijero Assembly Candidate, Tajudeen Akingbolu Ekiti West Assembly Candidate for constituency 1.

Akin Oluwadare, Odunayo Ategbero, Abayomi Folowosele, Sola Fakanle, Akomolafe Komoo, Asekun Sunday, who is the State Youth Leader Joel Omoniyi,  Yemi Fadipe, Sesan Okere, Kayode Fashakin, MBA, were all Inaugurated as members of the central campaign committee. 

The Commissioner for Finance, Dapo Kolawole who was the chairman planning committee, welcomed the Chairman of the party, Mr Paul Omotosho, the State PRO, Ade Ajayi and other leaders of the party to Aramoko Ekiti.

He sent the regards of the SSG, COS, AG, CPS to the house and urged the aggrieved people amongst the aspirants in the last party's primary elections to bury their hatchets as "it is someone's turn today and will be another person's turn tomorrow".

Kolawole said, "the governor is someone who believes and rewards good works and will surely reward everyone accordingly"

The campaign patron, Chief Femi Oyebanjo, who also addressed the gathering said,  the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has failed again. He said, "I Want us to vote massively in this elections, from the presidential to the assembly elections. We should call all our family members to come down to cast their votes for the party".

The chairman of the campaign committee, Chief Oluwole Ojo who also addressed the gathering expressed his satisfaction over the caliber of people on the list, said he believed the people will deliver.

He revealed that he was optimistic that all the candidates of the party will emerge and will come out victorious at the polls. 

Ojo also rallied support for the governor, according to him, "the governor had showed the people of Ekiti State that he is here to work, so we should pay him back with our votes".

The party chairman who came on board to address the gathering assured every aspirant who was stepped down that they would get the money for their forms refunded. 

He expressed his satisfaction over the presence of the people at the gathering and said, with the caliber of people at the gathering, he was sure of victory in Ekiti Central Constituency two. 

He urged everyone to work for the progress of the party as the PDP is already dead in Ekiti State. He was of the opinion that the PDP was no longer a challenge to the APC in the State.  

"Now that the PDP is already dead in Ekiti, we need to go out and campaign to bring in new members from the other parties to the APC. 

"Please, we should not fight, we are not known for causing trouble, we should  not cause trouble.

He however educated members on the appropriate way of voting, to avoid too much voided votes in the forthcoming election. 

Omotosho also urged members of the party on house to house campaign and mobilization to gain new members to the APC.

Dapo Karounwi who was also Inuagurated as the Chairman Efon wards campaign committee tasked members to be completely loyal to the party. He also urged members of the party to give their all to the forthcoming election as it would decide a lot of things.

 He also advocated peace amongst members of the party and that they should put party first in everything they do.

Rt Hon Tope Ademiluyi, the chairman of Ekiti West Local Government wards Campaign Committee also came up to charge members of the gathering and gave them the assurance that the PDP would be defeated gallantly in Ekiti West Local government.

Speaking on behalf of all the Candidates of the APC in the constituency, the House of Representatives candidate of the party, Wunmi Ogunmola thanked the party chairman and members of the party working committee and leaders of the party present at the occasion for coming and urged party members to start the campaign immediately as the forthcoming elections were fast approaching.

Wunmi however thanked everyone present and promised the people of the constituency dividends of democracy as their efforts would not go unnoticed. 

Aramoko culural troupe entertained the guests at the event with their beautiful dance steps 

A road show was done on the street of Aramoko Ekiti after the Inauguration.  The road show was led by the house of representatives candidate, Wunmi Ogunlola as other assembly candidates from the four local government areas in the constituency and members of the party followed suit.
