Visitation Panels: Fayemi Receives Reports, Says Panel not to Witch-hunt Anyone

Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has today, Tuesday 18th December, 2018 received reports of the visitation panels looking into activities of some institutions in the State. 

He however clarified that the setting up of visitation panels was not to witch hunt anyone but rather to reposition the affected institutions for the progress and development of the State.

The governor who made this clarification today at the conference hall of the governor’s office in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital, appreciated the chairmen and members of the visitation panels for accepting the task and completing it. He thereby promised that the reports would not sit on the shelves gathering dust.

According to Fayemi, “as a government, it is imperative that we know where we were, where we are and where we want to be”. 

The visitation panels who submitted their reports to the governor today were, Ekiti State University, College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, College of Health, Science and Technology, Ijero Ekiti and the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State Fact findings committees.

Also at the event of the submission of reports were the Deputy Governor of the State, Bisi Egbeyemi, Secretary to the State Government, Biodun Oyebanji, the State’s Commissioner of Justice, Wale Fapohunda, Commissioner of Finance, Dapo Kolawole, permanent secretaries, other government officials, men of the press among others.
