Every government all over the world usually has what is tagged the kitchen cabinet which usually conceptualizes the leader's thoughts before being nurtured into fruition. This kitchen cabinet may be part of a formally constituted cabinet or a clandestine one. What's important in the group is that, most times, it is sine qua non to the success of the administration or vice versa.

In the last two and a half months of Dr John Kayode Fayemi's administration in Ekiti State, I've discovered the existence of the three musketeers who I was tempted to call, The Three Wise Men at the risk of sounding patronizing.  These three gentlemen have many things in common to the extent of their birthdays and loyalty. I'm talking of no other persons than the Secretary to the State Government, Abiodun Oyebanji, the Chief of Staff, Abiodun Omoleye and the Attorney General, Abiodun Olawale Fapohunda. …

Fayemi Flags Off N20.2b Ero Rehabilitation Project

Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi has flagged off the rehabilitation of Ero dam and replacement of transmission main pipelines with an expectation that the project would address water shortage and curb open defecation.

Speaking at the flag off ceremony in Ikun Ekiti, Fayemi expressed optimism that the $55 million project - 20.2billion when converted to Naira, which is co-sponsored by the World Bank and the state government would give a sigh of relief to the nine local government areas supplied by the dam when uninterrupted potable water is made available to them.

The governor stated that Ekiti State has been investing in water and sanitation sector with efforts to rehabilitate some of the dams within the State in collaboration with the European Union and the World Bank.

Ekiti North Senatorial District's candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi, has on Tuesday led other candidates of the party to Isan Ekiti, the home-town of Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi for a meeting bothering on various issues facing the party in the district.
