I won't rest until workers’ salaries are settled -JKF Assures Ekiti.

Governor of Ekiti State Dr John Kayode Fayemi who was sworn in yesterday has assured Ekiti people that he will not rest till the burning issue of payment of workers’ salaries is addressed.
He made this assurance while giving his inauguration speech at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion along the new Iyin road in Ado-Ekiti. It wouldd be recalled that Dr. Kayode left the office of the governor four years ago
The state capital was at a total lock down yesterdayday as various dignitaries and big wigs of the All Progressives Congress graced the event. The president was represented by the6 Secretary to the Government of the federation.
After the swearing in of the Governor and his deputy, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, the Police had a parade to commemorate the inauguration and it was supervised by the governor, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi.
Also present at the were was the APC National leaders, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, traditional rulers, Governors of several states of the nation, heads of security agencies, party leaders and members of the public.
As one of the programmes lined up the inauguration ceremonies, there was an inaugural lecture Monday in Ado-Ekiti which was delivered by a renowned poet, Professor Niyi Osundare.
The Ikere-Ekiti Born poet and scholar described Governor Kayode Fayemi as a refined man and a man of great value. He however urged him to try to close up the lacuna between his government and the people.
