By Damilola Ejioye
“Rebuke not the children, for theirs is the kingdom of God”, so says the scripture. This captured the mood at the Nigerian Television Authority on Thursday 15, as the former deputy governor Prof. Modupe Adelabu identified with them at the carol organised by the station in Ado-Ekiti.
The visit of the former deputy governor to the carol party organised by NTA Ado was received with a lot of enthusiasm as both parents and children were eager to receive warm handshake from her.

Prior to the party that commenced few minutes to noon, the kids were given carte blanche to dance to the interesting music carefully selected by the DJ. The Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Aladesanmi Adejugbe represented by one of his high chiefs was in attendance along with his wife.
Prof. Modupe Adelabu who was the mother of the day, arrived with her entourage at the party few minutes after the commencement of the party. The kids were so elated to have this amiable woman in their midst and could not get enough of her as they danced and took several pictures with her before she took her seat.
A lot of competitions like dancing round the chair among others was put in place for the kids and winners were presented gifts by Prof. Adelabu. After the cake was cut and the mother of the day has danced to the kids satisfaction, she took her leave but not before taking more pictures with both the kids and Santa Claus.
